Some people think that is strange.  I know they exist, someday I will see them for myself.  First on my list, the purple-crowned fairy Heliothryx barroti.  A bit further afield,  Australia holds one of my most coveted fairies, the superb fairy wren Malurus cyaneus.  Yes...this is why I bird.  Birding is the  reason to To dream about far off places.  Birds are a better reason to visit Australia than my idea of becoming an aborigine--although I haven’t given up on that completely.  Join me on my quest for fairies.   My confidence level in achieving miracles is high ever since I found the end of a rainbow many years ago, on the road to Mexico. As The road progresses dragons and damsels will certainly grab my attention,  it only takes a bit of sparkle, a glint of sunlight shining from the grass.
